美国.S. 教育部 mandates schools use the 验证过程 to check the accuracy of information provided on the selected applicant’s Free Application 联邦学生援助(FAFSA). It is the student’s responsibility to provide requested information so that the 验证 过程 can be completed by the school’s published deadline, noted 下面.

We encourage you to begin the 验证过程 within 7 days of receiving notification from 验证 Gateway to ensure you receive 你的经济援助 in time for payments. Failure to complete the 验证过程 could result in the delay or denial of 你的经济援助.

We are pleased to announce we have established a partnership with Inceptia to expedite the federal 验证过程 for 蒙哥马利县社区学院. 验证 Gateway (VG) from Inceptia is an online portal to guide students and parents through 验证.
验证 Gateway is the primary communication point for 验证 information. 学生 should visit the site often during the 验证过程 for information 关于未完成的项目. The student will know their 验证 is complete when their financial aid checklist in Self-Service reflects a completed status.

- Student's proof of identity (valid, unexpired, government-issued photo identification)
- Student's Signed Statement of Educational Purpose

- Any documentation needed in a supplemental request
- Any documentation resulting from additional guidance from the U.S. 教育部

Montco is responsible for checking all other eligibility criteria before disbursing 为学生提供经济援助.
